Keep Holding On!
A drabble about hope
Word: Giant
Constraint: Finish the drabble with the phrase “After all, tomorrow is another day.”
Jack was trapped in a dead-end job with no promotion on the horizon, and all his attempts to change for a better position have been met with failure.
He was standing on the edge of a cliff at The Giant’s Causeway ready to end it all when he saw a baby seagull struggling to fly.
The bird fell repeatedly but kept spreading its wings and trying to fly.
Jack sat down and watched.
“If he keeps trying and doesn’t give up, I can do it too!”
He looked at the sun setting and said, “After all, tomorrow is another day.”
